About the role
Attribution is the heart of MakeRVN. This role owns the data side: ingesting billions of events, modelling multi-touch attribution, and keeping the numbers accurate and explainable.
You'll work at the intersection of data engineering and product, turning messy signals into the metrics customers bet their budgets on.
What you'll do
- Build and operate high-throughput ingestion and aggregation pipelines.
- Design attribution and de-duplication logic across networks and platforms.
- Ensure data quality, freshness and reconciliation customers can trust.
- Expose clean, well-documented datasets to the product and reporting layers.
What we're looking for
- 4+ years in data engineering or a strongly data-focused backend role.
- Expert SQL and experience with columnar / warehouse systems.
- Comfortable with a modern data stack (e.g. dbt, Airflow, ClickHouse, BigQuery).
- Rigorous about correctness — you reconcile numbers before you ship them.
Nice to have
- Background in ad-tech, marketing analytics or attribution.
- Experience with streaming (Kafka, Flink) at scale.
